Hello All, time to send in your guesses for the Puppy Pool!  My puppy family that guesses closest will get an additional go-home toy for their puppy. Those of you not getting a puppy just win glory for good guessing. How it works - send me your guess for Date of Birth, # boys and # girls. 

So some stats to help with your guesses: 

• Shelby’s first litter was due on 3/5 (day 63) and arrived on 3/3 and was 3 boys and 3 girls, she weighed 33 pounds the morning she went in to labor and each puppy weighed 10-11.5 ounces.
• Some of the weight gain is for the milk for the puppies and all the surrounding fluid for each puppy.
• The puppies are due on 11/17, using the 58-68 day range estimate, they could arrive as early as 11/12 and as late as 11/22. 11/17 is the 63 day average when most pups arrive. They could be a little earlier or a little later even (for her sake, it better not be later!).
• Shelby usually weighs 22.5 pounds, today she weighs 34.3 pounds.
• Shelby started to have a hard time getting on the bed on Halloween.
• We started seeing puppy heads and bums pushing on Shelbs’ sides on 11/4.
• As of this morning, 11/10, we are down to 1 mile walks per day and that mile takes about twice as long pre-pregnancy walks.
• Shelby is still playing with her toys in the first part of the morning and yesterday she thought it would be fun to bring me a rock to throw for her. She does that. We throw the rock in the backyard, she goes and finds the exact same one and brings it back. She also loves tennis and ping pong balls.
